  1. В @skromnypani23В  I ran across an article that suggested doing just that - but she had not actually done it herself. If you have a really good blender, there are some that can make flour out of beans, etc. However, in another article, someone else just used the cornmeal, and let it sit longer to break down the cornmeal and was able to make tortilla - with a slightly toothier texture. That was the only thing she did differently. It might also take a bit more water, because the cornmeal might soak up more liquid. Play with it. I think this could easily work because long ago, they did not have masa harina, they were grinding corn - I doubt it was superfine like the masa harina.
